Sally Correll Parton

Sally Correll Parton, 73, of Dallas, passed away on January 7, 2021, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

She was born December 3, 1947, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Frank and Flonnie Cash Correll.

Sally had many careers in her lifetime including  being a beautician,  working in textiles and truck driving.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gastonia.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, January 11, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Josh Glandon.

She will lie in state 1-3 on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Sally is survived by her son, Richard Arrowood; her daughter, Jody Arrowood; stepdaughters, Donna Gannon, Cindy Adams; brothers, Tommy and Alvin Correll; grandchildren, David Arrowood, Joshua Coon and several step-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Parton; granddaughter, Casey Arrowood; brothers ,Roy, Paul, and Sid Correll; sisters, Jean Cantrell, Rita Correll.
