Sally Rose Collins Woods

Sally Rose Collins Woods, 76, of Dallas, passed away November 30, 2016 at Gastonia Care and Rehabilitation.

She was born July 18, 1940 in Zanesville, OH, the daughter of the late Eldon and Betty Collins.

Sally loved her family, enjoyed cooking, had a big heart and the sweetest smile.  She also never met a stranger and will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband Richard Dale Woods; sons Rodney Samson and fiancé Vivian Wilcox and Richard Dale Woods II; daughter Jennifer Heavner and husband Ricky and grandchildren Savannah and Raegan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Richard Collins and grandmother Grace Ross.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Johnny Pendleton, will be held 1 pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Family Cemetery.
