Sallie Jones

Sallie Jane Jenkins Jones, 75, of Gastonia, passed away February 6, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

A Gaston County native, she was born October 2, 1945, daughter of the late Ruben Jenkins and Sara Lee Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Gunter, and brother, Reginald Davis.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Clifford Jones; daughters, Katrina Duncan, Sara Adams and husband Norman, Rebecca Carter; grandchildren, Christopher Tourtellotte, Eliza Davis, Amanda Gunter, Zachary Andrews, Brianna Andrews, Lauren Andrews, Cassidy and Elijah Carter; six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
