S. Elaine Pagell

S. Elaine Pagell, 57, of Bessemer City, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.

She was born June 23, 1962, in Gaston County, daughter of Virginia Collier and the late Frank Collier.

Elaine loved to sit and talk. She enjoyed coloring with pencils and collecting crystal figurines.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Mathew McGill and brother, David McGill, Jr.

Left to cherish her memories along with her mother are her sons, Jimmy W. Heffner (Wylie), Timothy F. Heffner (Chasity); partner in life, John Blackwell; brother, Houston Collier (Lori); and grandchildren, Seirra Bowen, Austin Heffner, and Christian Heffner.

A celebration of life will be held 4:00 pm, Monday, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Rev. Joe Heffner will be officiating.

The family will receive friends 3:30 – 4:00 pm, Monday, at the funeral home.

Interment is private.
