Ryland Brooke'S Welch

Ryland Brooke's Welch, 2 days old, passed away August 29, 2023, at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

He was born August 27, 2023, in Mecklenburg County, NC to Allyson Aleman and Payton Welch.

Ryland was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Stephanie Hawkins; great-great-grandmother, Rachel Pendleton; and great aunts, Brandy Welch, and Nicole Hedgepath.

In addition to his parents, Ryland is survived by his grandparents, Jason Aleman, Dawne Stewart and husband Kyle, and Shena and Gene Welch; great-grandparents, Terry and Pete Moore, Susan and Harold Teague, and Pedro Aleman; great-great-grandparents, Frances "Nanny" Stanford and Peggy and Harold Herron; aunts, Jaydan Aleman, Logan Taylor, Alyssa Welch, and Makara Sellars; Uncles, Sammy Welch and Caleb Farmer; and great-aunts and uncles, Maria Capps, Michael and Sabrina Rice, Alissa Williams, and Chris Welch.

The family will hold a private graveside service.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm at Midview Baptist Church, 703 Margrace Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
