Ruth V. Gorski

Gastonia, NC Ruth V. Gorski, age 72, passed away January 31, 2013, at her home. She was born July 20, 1940 in Niagara County, NY, daughter of the late Edwin and Beulah Mante. Mrs. Gorski was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Gastonia. A graveside and interment service will be held 2 pm on Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont, officiated by Rev. Dr. J. George Gilbert. The family will receive friends 12:30 - 1:30 pm on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. She is survived by: daughter, Cheryl McAbee and her husband, Jonathan of Gastonia; brother, Harold Mante and his wife, Rosemary of N. Tonawanda, NY; grandchildren, Jennifer McCune, Kimberly McCune; great grandchildren, Victoria, Gabrielle, Keylan, Damien, Aydriannah. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Chester J. Gorski; great granddaughter, Kailey Carroll. Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P. O.
