Russell Lewis Sr.

Russell Allen Lewis Sr., 53 of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his residence.

He was born October 12, 1969, in Lenawee County, Michigan to Ramona Lewis and the late Luther Lewis.

Russell was true to himself. He was very firm in his beliefs. He was a witty man who loved to joke. He loved his dogs, Janet and Rowdy. He deeply loved his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Ramona Lewis, Russell is also survived by his son, Russell Lewis Jr., and wife Catalina; daughter, Rachel Loraleigh Lewis, and fiancée Lindsey Dube; brother, Henry Eugene Lewis, and wife Brandy; grandchildren, Russell Allen Lewis III, Gabrielle Sophia Lewis, James Adam Lewis, Abigail Elizabeth Lewis.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.
