Russell John Kocsis Sr.

Russell John Kocsis Sr., 69, of Bessemer City, formerly of New Brunswick , NJ, passed away on December 1, 2013 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born September 10, 1944 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, son of the late Michael Joseph Kocsis and Anna Bennett Kocsis. Mr. Kocsis served with the US Coast Guard for 4 years. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 27. All services will be private. Mr. Kocsis is survived by: his loving wife of 47 years, Esther Dweck Kocsis; sons, Russell John Kocsis Jr.and fiancee, Janet Krewson of NC, Glen Robert Kocsis and wife Cristina of Neptune City, NJ; daughter, Jacqueline Gardella and finance, Scott Allen of NC; brothers, Michael J. Kocsis and wife Sherry of NC, Robert J. Kocsis and wife Donna of VA, Richard L. Kocsis of NY; grandchildren, Nicole Gardella, Jesse Kocsis, Evan Gardella, Eric Kocsis.
