Ruby Baldwin Sronce

Gastonia, NC Ruby Baldwin Sronce, 84, went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2013. A loving mother and grandmother who loved flowers and writing poems, she was born November 17, 1928 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Boyce and Jessie Byerly Baldwin A celebration of Ruby's life will be held 4 pm on Sunday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Randy Arrowood. The family will receive friends 3-4 pm on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment is private She is survived by: sons, Steve Sronce and Smitty Smith, Marvin "Joey" Sronce Jr. all of Gastonia; daughters, Elaine Arrowood and Ronnie of Mt. Holly, Linda Russ and Albert of Gastonia; grandchildren, Melissa Cody, Scott Gaddis, Jennifer Moore, Sandy Campion, Alison Feely; eleven great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; special niece, Judy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband of over 40 years, Marvin "Joe" Sronce; and twin sister, Reba Morrison. The family would like to give a special thanks to Evie Grant, Gaston Hospice, and Peak Resources for their loving care.
