Ruby Farris Sellers

Ruby Farris Sellers, 85, of Bessemer City, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.

She was born November 11, 1930, in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Josi "Joe" Farris and Leona Eskew Farris.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Troy Sellers.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Barbara Sellers; brothers, Joe Lee Farris, Aurther Lewis Farris; and grandchildren, Randell Whitworth and Bobby Whitworth.

A funeral service will be held 2pm on Monday at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia. Pasor Jerry Millwood will be officiating.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
