Ruby Morgan

Ruby Heavner Morgan, age 85 of 1027 Dewitt Rd., Dallas, passed away July 10, 2012 at Cardinal Health Care & Rehabilitation, Lincolnton. She was a native of Lincoln County, daughter of the late, Frank Griffin and Myrtle Newell Heavner. Mrs. Morgan was a member of North Gaston Church of God, Dallas. A funeral service will be held 12 pm on Friday at North Gaston Church of God, Dallas, officiated by Rev. Ted Smith. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The interment will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Lowell. She is survived by: her children, Robert Morgan and wife, Debbie of York, SC, Ken Morgan and wife, Marsha of Bessemer City, Mike Morgan, Rida Costner, Dennis Morgan and wife, June, all of Dallas, Jimmy Morgan and wife Chrystal of Gastonia, Sue Propst and husband, Darrell of Lincolnton, Jerry Morgan and wife, Judy of Mt. Holly; sister, Shirley Singleton of Gastonia; 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Ernest Robert Morgan; son, Roy Lee Morgan; grandson, David Roy Morgan.
