Ruby Brown

Ruby Marilyn Brown, 95, of Clover, SC, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at her residence.

She was born February 1, 1926, in Gaston Co, daughter of the late Thomas Edison McCarn and Minnie Wentz.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Max Brown, Sr.; and several brothers and sisters.

Ruby is survived by her son, Max Dalton Brown, Jr. (Mechell); daughter, Kathy Cooke (Rick); 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 am on Monday, June 28, 2021, at Gaston Memorial Park - 1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054 .

Family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 am at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Agape Care and Hospice York - 817 E Liberty St, York, SC 29745 .
