Rubie "Richard" Moore

Rubie "Richard" Moore, 77, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 1, 1946, in Cocke County, TN, to the late Elbert and Millie Moore.

In addition to his parents, Rubie was preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Garner and G.B. Moore.

Rubie is survived by his dog, Hercules, the light of his life.

He worked for seventeen years at Burlington Industries. Rubie had many special friends throughout the years and always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed spending time at SeniorTLC day center drinking coffee, playing Bingo, attending Bible study, and joking with his friends.

A Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Maurice Allen, will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 – 10:00 AM at Armstrong Cemetery in Gastonia, NC.
