Roy "Lewis" Stowe, Jr., 77, of Clover, SC, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 5, 1944, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Roy Lewis Stowe Sr., and Florence Elma (Harper) Stowe.
Lewis was the owner and operator of Precision Electronic Balancing Company, Belmont, NC. He also loved to make his own styles of turkey calls that transformed into a small business, Stowe Away Turkey Calls. He traveled for turkey call competitions, where he was awarded two-time world champion, and many other awards. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and was a mentor to many.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Paulette Stowe; daughters, Leslie Sauceda (Kenny), Farrah Parker, and Traci Breedlove; brother, Richard Stowe; grandchildren, Logan Sauceda, Miranda Sauceda Graham, Haley Towery Long, Regan Shepherd, and Connor Towery; great-grandchildren, Fisher Sauceda, Huckston Sauceda, and Weston Bower; and close friends, Darrin Dawkins, Bill Robbins and Martha Stowe.
A funeral service officiated by Pastor Dean Reynolds and Pastor Kenneth "Skeet" Thomas, will be held 2pm, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the First Baptist Church Clover - 117 South Main Street, Clover, SC 29710.
Family will receive friends 12:30 – 1:45pm prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont, NC
