Roy Smith Sr.

On Wednesday, December 27, 2017, Roy Smith Sr. entered the pearly gates of heaven to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born April 17, 1962. He was a native of Gaston County to the late Howard Lee Smith and Barbara McKee Smith. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife and soulmate Eleanor Smith; his children, Amanda Lyle (Michael Lyle), Roy Bradley Smith Jr (Brittany Smith), and Stormy Smith. Grandchildren, Landon Lyle, Addison Smith, Lillie Lyle, Lawson Lyle and Luke Smith; Brothers, Mike Smith, Robert Smith and Shannon Smith. Roy's number one treasure was his family. He enjoyed spending all his free time with them and because of that he left us all with a love that will last. All services are private. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
