Roy Eugene Hullett

Gastonia, NC –

Roy Eugene Hullett, 86, passed away June 22, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 16, 1931 in Clover, SC, the son of the late Phillip Leroy Hullett and Mildred Elizabeth Cloninger Hullett.

Roy was a member of Olney Presbyterian Church.  He worked on South Street for 67 years as an owner/operator of Spindle Center Barber Shop.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Laura Hullett; sons Fred Hullett and Travis Pipes and wife Cindy; daughters, Judy Daniels and husband Mike, and Celeste Bowman; brother, Wayne Hullett; sister Helen Meek; grandchildren Ben and Jay Daniels and Trystan Pipes and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at West Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1015 W. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Visitation will be held 1 – 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
