Roy Lee Bryson

Roy Lee Bryson, 66, of Gastonia, passed away on June 27, 2014 at his home. He was born July 21, 1947 in Gaston County, son of the late William Taft Bryson and Ruby Cabe Bryson. Roy was a generous man, who loved his family deeply and was very devoted to them. He was the owner of The Gastonia Trading Post. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #462 of Cramerton. He was a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves and he enjoyed fishing. A funeral service will be held 3:00 on Monday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Rev. Jerry Millwood. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 9:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum, Gastonia with full masonic burial rites. Roy is survived by: his loving wife of over 44 years, Gloria "Tinker" Bryson; sons, Doug and Robbie Bryson; brothers, Buck Bryson (Claudette), Booty Bryson (Barbara), Larry Bryson (Carol), Gene Bryson; sisters, Linda Neikirk, Brenda Queen (Jimmy), Glenda Singleton (Mike); grandchildren, Robbie Lee Bryson, Brandon Bryson, Jacob Bryson; special pet, Cocoa; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Heather, Carri, Brooke and Cameron.
