Roy E. Bazzle

CRAMERTON - Roy E. Bazzle, 94, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 27, 2015. He was born October 24, 1920 to the late Robert & Myrtle Bazzle. Mr. Bazzle was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Velda Huffstickler Bazzle; and sons, Roy "Eddie" Bazzle, Ronnie Ray Bazzle, and David "Wayne" Bazzle. He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Bazzle Strickland; daughters-in-law, Jackie Bazzle and Sheila Bazzle; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Roy was a lifelong member of the McAdenville Wesleyan Church where he enjoyed great friends and beautiful music. He spent many years singing in gospel quartets. Roy Bazzle's legacy is of a man who loved God, his family, and gospel music. Pepaw was always ready with a good, "When I was a boy" story, which fascinated us as children. He and Memaw loved us unconditionally and we felt their prayers. No more worries Pepaw. Now rest with Him. A funeral service, officiated by Pastors Pat Hannon and Brian Matherly, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at McAdenville Wesleyan Church, 300 Wesleyan Dr., McAdenville. The family will receive at the church from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park. Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
