Roxie Revels

Ms. Roxie Martin Revels, 66, of Gastonia, passed away March 7, 2020, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 6, 1953, daughter of the late Frank and Mildred Martin.
Ms. Revels dearly loved her family and they will miss her loving spirit.
She loved the Lord, and greatly enjoyed sewing, kids, and baking.
She made all of her kids' clothes and spent most of her life working at a daycare.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Martin Jr., David Martin, John Martin, and Wade Martin.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Buddy Hawkins and wife Crystal, Dwight Hawkins and wife Angel, Chad Hawkins and wife Abby; daughter, Brittney Schaller and husband Chris; grandchildren, Scott, Mac, DJ, Christian, Kayla, Jacob, Kenny, CJ, Cam, Hope, Noah, Mary Ellis, Daisy, Morgan, Cheltsee, and Tiffany; brothers and sisters, Betty, Frieda, Margie, Robert, and Patricia.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at First Baptist Church Cherryville, 301 E 1st St., Cherryville, from 11:45 am until 12:45 pm.
A memorial service will be held at the church at 1:00 pm following the visitation.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
