Rosemary Swann Bridges

Rosemary Swann Bridges, 69, of Gastonia, passed away, April 19, 2015, at her home after a long battle with an illness. She was born, September 22, 1945, in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Jesse Lee Swann and Margaret Jeanette Hargett Swann. Rosemary was a very loving and caring person. She retired from Krispy Kreme after 42 years. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Waylon Bridges. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Richard, Timothy, and Christopher Bridges; daughters, Renee Bridges, Cindy Hunt; brother, Larry Dean Swann; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and loving friends, Barbara Tinsley and Bennie McClannon. A memorial service will be held 2pm on Sunday at True Gospel Holiness Church, 3843 Lake Rd, Charlotte, officiating Pastor Dwayne Hunt. A gathering of friends will be held following the service at the church. Interment is private.
