Rose Capps

Rose Capps, 75, of Belmont, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2021 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC.

She was born on March 3, 1946, in Waynesburg, KY, to the late Everett and Mary Sutton Phillips.

Rose was a church member at Message of Love in Belmont, NC. She was the former owner of Pet Boutique in Cramerton. Rose loved her family and she also enjoyed playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford "Woo" Capps; brothers, Jimmy Hogue and Donnie Phillips; and sister, Ruby Oxendine.

Left to cherish Rose's memories are her sons, Bryon Adkins (wife Tammy), and Tony Adkins; stepson, Johnny Adkins; stepdaughter, Theresa Adkins; grandchildren, Kayla Elliot (husband Joe) and Samantha White; and great-grandchild, Reagan Elliot.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Frankie Isaacs, will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC, 28052.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Robin Johnson House – 5005 Shepherds Way, Dallas, NC.
