Rose Brown

May 20, 1947 — Oct 18, 2026

Rose Brown, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, at the age of 79, in her home in Dallas, North Carolina. Born on May 20, 1947, in the serene hills of Murphy, North Carolina, Rose brought light and love into the lives of everyone she met.

With a hearty laugh and an open heart, Rose spent her years as a devoted bookkeeper in the textile industry, mastering numbers while cherishing the bonds of family and friendship. Her spirit lived in the simplest pleasures; she found joy in collecting seashells and reminiscing about her mother, weaving tales of love and laughter that will echo in our hearts forever.

In her final moments, surrounded by her cherished family, Rose exemplified the faith of a mustard seed. Her love for the Lord was steadfast, guiding her through life's joys and challenges with grace.

Rose leaves behind her devoted son, Scott Brown, and daughter-in-law, Amy Brown. She was a proud grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren: Madeline Brown, Sarah Brown, and Carson Waller. She is also survived by her loving brother, Russell Ingram.

In the soft whispers of the ocean breeze, we will hear her voice, in the grains of sand, we will find her love. Rest easy, dear Rose.

Rose was preceded in death by: Husband, Larry Brown, Father, Leonard Ingram, Mother, Mary Ingram.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is honored to serve the Brown family. Condolences may be shared online at: www.greenefuneral.com.
