Roscoe Mitchell Wooten Jr.,56, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on June 6, 2017, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born February 16, 1961, in Gaston County son of the late Roscoe Mitchell Wooten Sr. and Louise Kurrle Wooten.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.

Mr. Wooten is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Evelyn Riley Wooten; sons, Eric Scott Wooten and James Michael Wooten; brother, Michael Wesley Wooten; sister, Theresa Wooten Gossett.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
