Ronnie Lee Isley

Ronnie Lee Isley, 58, of Gastonia, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at his residence.

Born on August 1, 1963, in Rockingham County, NC, Ronnie was the son of Peggy Quilliams Sampson and the late Walter Lee Isley.

With great determination, Ronnie recovered from a severe automobile accident this past january. He loved his family and was known as a jokester. Ronnie enjoyed listening to music, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.

In addition to his father, Ronnie is preceded in death by his brothers, John Isley and Henry Sampson, Jr.; and grandson, James Harley Allman.

Left to cherish Ronnie's memories are his loving wife of 25 years, Brenda Isley; mother and stepfather, Peggy and Henry Sampson, Sr.;  son, David Pickelsimer; daughter, Linda Allman; brother, David Sampson, and Michael Sampson; sister, Julie Sampson Davis; grandchildren, Chasity Allman, Madison Pickelsimer, and Summer McGraw; great grandchildren, Alaiyah Guerrero, and Ahbre Lindsay.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC, 28052.
