Ronnie Dean Grant

Ronnie Dean Grant, 75, of Dallas, went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 24, 1940, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Wade and Marie Grant.

Ronnie was a member of Souls Harbor Tabernacle Church in Gastonia.  He loved to travel to sing Gospel music.  He loved his family and friends dearly and will be deeply missed.  The family wishes to say a special thank you to the staff at Courtland Terrace and TLC for their loving care and support.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Louise Chambers Grant; son Ronald Grant and wife Dana; daughters Tammy Jean Beavers and husband Kenneth, Sissy Teague and husband Dinkey, Renee Treece and husband Bobby, Dawn Lineberger and husband Tim; brothers Charles and Jerry Grant; sister Connie Berry; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and nephew Eugene Story.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Blaine Grant and sister Maphrea Sellers.

The family will receive friends Friday 6 – 8 pm at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday at Souls Harbor Tabernacle, 271 Camp Rotary Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. James Chambers and Ron Grant.

Burial will be in Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
