Ronald Gene Ivey, 72, of Bessemer City, passed away on September 17, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.
He was born November 11, 1949, in Gaston County, son of the late Howard Ivey and Eunice Huffstetler Ivey.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Harry Davis.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
Ronald is survived by his sons, Gene Ivey and Roger Dale Ivey; daughter, Wendy Price and husband Brian; grandchildren, Jessica Ivey, Christian Ivey, Summer Price, Tommus Price, Lucas Ivey; ex-wife, Eleanor Ivey.
In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
