Ronald L. Cope

Ronnie Cope, 76, passed away October 4, 2016 at Courtland Terrace in Gastonia.

He was born June 4, 1940, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Allen Jackson Cope and Marolene Tyner Cope.

Ronnie was a member of Promise Land Baptist Church in Gastonia.  He was also a veteran of the US Air Force.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 44 years, Linda W. Cope; sons Allen and Jeffrey Cope; daughters Nina Hovis, Cheryl Menard and Susan Mullis; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Harold Blankenship will be held 3 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
