Ronald Frederick Cole

Ronald Frederick Cole, 70, of Gastonia, passed away February 26, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 10, 1947 in Chester, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Roland Ford Cole and Catherine Carpenter McCreery.

Ronald was a veteran of the US Army National Guard.  He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.  He retired from Duke Energy Corporation.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 40 years, Vickie Baldwin Cole; son, Sean "Chris" Cole; daughter Stephanie Cole Foster and husband Zach; grandchildren Carys and Emerson Foster.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Darin Gibbs, will be held 11 am Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at First Free Will Baptist Church, 2316 Union Road, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Tuesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.

Burial will be in Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
