Ron Herring

Ron Herring, 60, of Dallas, NC, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at his residence.

He was born August 28, 1961, in Chester Co, SC, son of Stella Hutchens and the late James "Chicken Bird" Herring.

Ron was a member of Praise Temple, Dallas, NC. He was a faithful husband, father, and son. He loved the Lord and was faithful to his house as long as he was able. Ron was a jokester, had a very outgoing personality, and was very athletic.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cathy Herring; daughter, Reagan Elizabeth Herring; and sister, Sylvia Judd and husband, Jeffrey.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Jimmy Sanders, will be held 11:00 am on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Burial will be held at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
