Roger Scott Mcclure

Roger Scott McClure, 42, passed away May 14, 2018 at his residence.  He was born November 7, 1975, a native of Gaston County, the son of Roger Odell McClure and the late Debra Brommer McClure.  Roger was a veteran of the United States Army.  Left to cherish his memories along with his father are his loving wife, Carrie Quates McClure; daughter, Daphne McClure; step-children, Samantha Hibberts and Bradley Messer; brothers, Jesse McClure and wife, Kristal and Jack Costner; and aunt, Elaine Padgett.  A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Tim Parker, will be held 2 pm Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.  Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
