Rodney Stewart Jones

Rodney Stewart Jones, 68, of Gastonia, NC, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

Rodney was born September 17, 1956, in Mecklenburg Co, NC, son of Betty Black Jones and the late Don Jones.

Rodney was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church, Huntersville. He loved working on old cars and woodworking, but most importantly his family. He also loved his 2 fur babies, Bella and Maci.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gayla Hoyle Jones; sons, Eric Jones, and Cory Jones (Jackie); brother, Marc Jones (Angela); sister, Donna Johnson; and grandchildren, Chandler Jones, Bryson Jones, Haley Jones, and Logan Jones.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Brandon Cassell, will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, January 10, 2025, at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery - 10500 Beatties Ford Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078.
