Rodney Dean Badger

Rodney Dean Badger, 64, of Gastonia, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on May 5, 1956, to the late Charles Larry Badger and Myrtle Elizabeth Barber Badger.

Rodney attended West Franklin Baptist Church. He loved getting to watch his sons play ball.

In addition to his parents, Rodney is preceded in death by his wife Penny Badger; brother, Doug Badger; and sister, Kimberly Badger.

Left to cherish Rodney's memories are his sons, Zac Badger and Bobby Hyde (Jennifer); grandchildren, Tyler, McKenzie, and Ally Hyde; and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Noah, Henry, and Grayson.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A private graveside service will be held by the family at Westview Gardens.
