Rodger Neal Mccraw, Jr.

"Rodney" McCraw, 57, of York, SC, passed away at his home on March 4, 2025.

He was born in Gastonia, NC on December 28, 1967, to Elizabeth Ann Clark and the late Rodger McCraw, Sr.

Rodney had a heart of gold. He would give someone the shirt off of his own back if he felt they needed it. Regardless of the need or distance, if a friend was in need, he was there. He loved his family with all of his heart.

In addition to his father, Rodney was preceded in death by his grandparents.

In addition to his mother, Rodney is survived by his wife, Leslie McCraw; friend and companion, Michelle Surratt; stepfather, Doug Clark; brother, Shane McCraw; uncles, Glenn Mace; Ricky McCraw and wife Sue; special aunt, Sherrie Mace; stepchildren, Taylor Philbeck and April Austin; and grandson, Jordan Philbeck.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Monday, March 17, 2025, 6:00-8:00 pm, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.
