Robin Johnson Woodard

We are heartbroken to share that Robin Johnson Woodard, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on March 18, 1962, in Gastonia, NC, Robin touched the lives of everyone she met with her warm spirit and loving nature.

Robin dedicated much of her life to her work as a substitute teacher in the county school system, where her passion for education and commitment to nurturing young minds shone brightly. She attended Trinity Baptist Church in Bessemer City, and her faith was a cornerstone of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Betty Johnson, and her beloved sons, Jeremy and Justin Woodard, along with her grandparents, Edgar and Ruby Reeves, and her sister, Diane Johnson.

Robin leaves behind her cherished daughter, Jennifer Duncan (Ryan) and son, Joshua Woodard (Alison Worley), along with her adored grandchildren, Hadleigh, Scarlyt, Jax, Jameson, Levi, and Justin. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and her beloved family, Mike Johnson (Earlene), Rodney Johnson, and Scott Johnson (Karen).

A funeral service to celebrate Robin's life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, located at 306 W Indiana Ave, Bessemer City, NC 28016. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church, starting at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to a charity of your choice in Robin's memory. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
