Roberta Lee Farmer, 64, of Gastonia, passed away October 5, 2017 at Carolina's Medical Center – Mercy in Charlotte.
She was born February 2, 1953, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late J.C. Rollins and Emma Lee Spurling Rollins.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons J.C. Helms and wife Kelly, Jimmy Helms; daughter Kathy Brown; brother Carl Rollins and wife, Jackie; sisters Rita Wilson and husband Roger, Rhonda Carlisle and husband Mike; grandchildren Camara Helms, Ethan Helms and Kenneth Brown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Helms and James Farmer.
The family will receive friends 6 – 7 p.m., October 13, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
The services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help pay for Roberta's services to Kathy Brown 306 Silver Street, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
