Robert N. Woods

Robert N. Woods, 68, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born June 21, 1953, in Lee Co, NC, son of Kathleen Elizabeth Register Woods and the late Robert D. Woods.

Robert was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was proud to have served his country. Robert was an avid storyteller. He lived for the beach, loved music, but he loved his family the most.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca Woods; son, Bobby Woods and wife, Crystal; stepson, Jason Adams and wife, Lauren; daughters, Amy Vondra and husband, Evan, and Emily Ortiz and husband, Hector; brother, Christopher Woods and wife, Angie; sister, Margo Carter and husband, Mike; and grandchildren, Carly Woods, Jaxon Adams, and Henry Adams.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Sam Barnette, will be held 3pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
