Robert "Bobby" William Ewart

Robert "Bobby" William Ewart, 63, of Kings Mountain, passed away April 11, 2016 at his residence.

He was born February 26, 1953 in Gaston County, the son of the late Pearson Monroe Ewart and Gladys Melton Ewart.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Callie L. Ewart; step-sons Billy Keeter and wife Lucy, Cecil Keeter and Dean Keeter and wife Barbara; step-daughter Joyce Guye; nine grandchildren; sister Carolyn Ewart Postell and husband George of Dallas; nephew Jamie Postell and many other extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Louise Postell; and brothers Junior Ewart, James Doster and Jay Ewart Doster.

The family would like to thank Cleveland County Hospice and the doctors for their care of Mr. Ewart.

A funeral service will be held 3 pm Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Dale.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Westview Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holland Memorial Baptist Church, 123 Holland Memorial Church Rd., Bessemer City, NC 28016.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
