Robert Gaines Wells, Sr.

Gastonia, NC - Robert Gaines Wells Sr., of Gastonia, passed away April 10, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born, November 2, 1944, native of Gaston County, son of the late, Deuard and Bessie Wells. Robert attended Bethlehem Church of Gastonia. He retired from Barnhardt Manufacturing. Robert is survived by: his wife, Brenda Wells; sons, Robert Wells Jr., Jack Wells Sr.; daughter, Susie Clark; step-daughter, Sandy Green; sisters, Alice Moss and Vangie Gaddies; ten grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 3 pm on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Dr. John Pelonero. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
