Robert "Bob" Shope

Robert "Bob" Shope, 73, of Dallas, NC, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on January 19, 1951, to Betty Shope and the late Hubert Shope.

Bob loved Ohio State football and traveled to almost every game. He loved 50's and 60's music.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill Shope; sister, Peggy Shope.

Bob is survived by his wife, Diane Shope; son, Kyle Shope (Catalina) in Tennessee; daughters, Kelly Browand (David) of Tennessee, Rebecca Ward (Stephan) also of Tennessee; stepdaughters, Nikki Smeltzer (Mike), and Melissa Smith, both of North Carolina; ten grandchildren.
