Robert Lee Roadman

October 19, 1962 — May 13, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Lee Roadman, who left us on May 13, 2026, at the age of 63. Born October 19, 1962, in Somerset, PA, to the late Richard and Carolyn Roadman.


Bob lived in Dallas, NC, where he cherished every moment with his beloved wife, Karen Roadman. Together, they built a beautiful life and a loving family. He was a proud father and an even prouder grandfather, who loved and adored his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed sharing his passion for life with them, whether it was working on carpentry projects, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, or hitting the golf course. Robert was a dedicated construction foreman at Cypress Retirement Community in Charlotte, where his expertise and leadership left a mark on many. His warm spirit and infectious enthusiasm for his work and hobbies will be deeply missed.


In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Tina Hammond and Jackie Roadman.


Left to cherish Bob's memory is his loving wife of more than 37 years, Karen Wilson Roadman; daughters, Amanda McCraney (Steven), Kristin Roadman, Taylor Roadman; grandchildren, Bentley Tino, Bella Tino, Jett McCraney; brothers, Charles and Richard Roadman; mother in law, Janice Nance, father in law, T.J. Wilson; fur baby, Lexi Grace.


Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, 2:00 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate his life. A burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont, NC.
