Robert Grayson Phillips, 84, Gastonia passed away May 8, 2019 at his residence.
He was born May 23, 1934, a native of Gaston County, son to the late, Eal and Effie Mayne Phillips.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Phillips.
He is survived by sisters, Patricia and Keith Gates of Lowell and Sheila Poteat of Mt. Holly; and caregivers, Buddy and Dusty Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lowell Church of God Building Fund, 804 W. 1st Street, Lowell, NC 28098.
A memorial service will be held 4 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Lowell Church of God, officiated by the Rev. Joe Heffner.
