Robert Mcalister

Robert "Mac" McAlister, 51, of Gastonia passed away January 11, 2013 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was born November 13, 1961 in Gaston County; son of Charles Raymond and Fanny Lenk McAlister. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00pm Tuesday at New Life Baptist Church-Bessemer City. A funeral service will be at 2:00pm Wednesday at the church, officiated by Revs. Randy Richardson and Gene Ware. Mr. McAlister was a loving husband, father, and son. He was an active member of God Can Baptist Church, Bessemer City and was self-employed. He is survived by: his loving wife of 30 years, Sandra Treece McAlister; daughters, Tiffany McAlister, Krystal McAlister and fiancée Chris Blanton; son, Johnathan Costner; brother, Gert McAlister and wife Lisa; sisters, Tina McMillan and husband Terry, Diana Greco and husband Bobby; father and mother in law, Marvin and Gaynell Treece; and 5 grandchildren.
