Robert "Bob" Lee Absher Jr., 78, of Grover, NC, passed away November 15, 2022, Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC.
He was born October 24, 1944, in Gaston County, son of the late Robert Lee Absher Sr. and Gladys Wilson Absher.
Bob attended Harvest Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. He carried a burden for people who were lost.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Harvest Baptist Church, 144 Ware Road Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Gary Teague.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 4 years, Patti Absher; sons, Robert Lee Absher III and wife Paula, Charles Phillip Absher; sisters, Kay Pittman and husband Paul, Rita Clark and husband Max, Alice Hansel and husband David; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Michael Absher.
