Robert William Harris, 83, of Gastonia, passed away September 7, 2014, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born a native of Gaston County, September 3, 1931, son of the late Admiral Dewey Harris and Bessie Mae Morgan Harris. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday at First Free Will Baptist Church - 2316 Union Rd, Gastonia. Visitation will be 10:00 - 10:45 am Friday prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
