Robert "Bob" Glenn

Robert "Bob" Glenn, 93 of Gastonia, NC, passed away on April 12, 2022, at his residence.

He was born October 28, 1928, in York Co, SC., son of the late Harold and Sadie Glenn.

Bob was a fireman with the City of Gastonia, retired after 30 years of service. He was a kind person and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sons, Rick Glenn, Steven Glenn, and Thomas "Butch" Glenn; brother, Richard Glenn; sisters, Margie Montieth, Doris Miller, and Irene Jones.

Bob is survived by daughter, Gale Glenn Smith (Dennis); wife of 73 years, Bobbie Whitman Glenn; grandchildren, Robert Edge, Tony Edge, Chad Glenn, and David Glenn; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, April 15, 2022, at The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at funeral home.
