Robert E. Faile Sr.

Robert E. Faile Sr., 87, of Gastonia passed away May 18, 2013 at his home. He was born April 19, 1926 in Pageland, SC son of the late William Russell and Bertha Mae Chappell Faile. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Monday at Hillcrest Gardens, Mount Holly officiated by Rev. Chris Faile and military rites by the Gaston County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 pm Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052. Mr. Faile is survived by his children; Robert E. Faile Jr., Lillian Guffy, Calvin E. Faile, Kathleen Wright, Billy M. Faile, Jo Ann Dodson, Elizabeth Pruitt; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Rogers Faile. Memorials may be made to the Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054.
