He was born October 29, 1945, in Gaston County, son of the late Lewis Benton England and Virginia Correll England.
Robert loved to drag race.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Faye Craig England; sons, Rodney England and wife, Cindy, Robbie England and wife, Laura, William England; daughter, Kimberly "Roxanne" England and boyfriend, Doren Moore; mother of his children, Patricia England;  step children, Shane Mitchell and wife, Debra, Kandy LeWallen, Randy Parks and wife, Heidi; sisters, Cathy Jordan and husband, Burl, June Laws; brother, Ronnie England; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
