Robert "Robbie" Dover

Robert "Robbie" Dover, 67, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his residence.

He was born February 16, 1953 in Gaston Co, NC son of the late Adris Elmer Dover and Blair Ann Trakas Dover.

Robbie was an avid animal lover and loved beach music. He also was the owner and operator of R&S Auto, Gastonia.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Padgett; and aunt, Virginia Stroupe.

Robbie is survived by his children, Pam Joyce, Denise Brown, Jennifer Randol and Chris Bradley; brother, Steven Dover; sister, Vicki Sisk (Gerald); 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 3 grand-dogs.

A graveside service officiated by speaker Darrell Watson will be held 11am on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Gaston Humane Society – PO Box 2334, Gastonia, NC 28053.
