Robert Arthur Dion

Robert Arthur Dion, 82, of Gastonia, NC, passed away, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born June 12, 1938 in Rutland Co, VT, son of the late Arthur Robert Dion and Gertrude Hill Dion.

Robert served in the Army National Guard.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grand-daughter, "Star".

Robert is survived by his wife, Bonita Dion; sons, Scott and Richard Dion; daughters, Teresa Swickrath and Paula Hensley (Eric); step-sons, Randy and Robert Bowman (Robin); step-daughters, Rhonda Liethold and Kimberly Lewis (Matthew); 15 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
