Robert Brent Cuddy

Robert Brent Cuddy, 62, of Cramerton, passed away April 20, 2019 at his residence.
He was born November 1, 1956 in Mt. Morris, IL, son of Pearl Kendel Cuddy and the late Lynn Cuddy.
Robert was a current employee of CaroMont Regional Medical Center, with 11 years of employment. He loved to go on cruises. He was a Chicago Cubs fan, and he enjoyed baking and socializing with his neighbors. Robert was also a veteran of the United States Airforce. Unfortunately, "Llamas And A Marching Band" could not be obtained for the service!
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Cuddy.
He is survived by his mother, Pearl Cuddy; wife of 19 years, Lisa Smoot Cuddy; son, Christopher Cuddy of Florida; step-sons, Cliff Nickerson of Brazil, and David Nickerson and Becky of Massachusetts; daughters, Jessie Cuddy of Florida, and Katie Nickerson & Joel of Pennsylvania; brother, Bill Cuddy and Nelsy of Hondurus; sisters, Suzanne Cuddy, Cynthia Maney and Edward, Lori Schult and Jeffrey; multiple nieces and nephews; and best friend, Angie Scism and the McBride and Coleman families.
A memorial service officiated by Rev. Dennis Harper, will be held 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
Family will receive friends immediately after the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
